Membership:

Members may qualify to take part in the Side Saddle Equitation Championships. Levels at the Show run from beginners through Novice to Intermediate (for adults only) and on to Open - ultimately to compete for the title of Side-Saddle Rider of the Year or Junior Side-Saddle Rider of the Year at the National Show. (Details in the Members' Handbook, issued each January, and in the National Show Schedule, issued in May).

Benefits also include:

· Special rosettes and trophies to be won by Members riding side-saddle.
· Sponsored classes - including one-day events and Concours d'Élégance - to be ridden side-saddle.
· Grade Tests and Instructor examinations, with the syllabi in the Members' Handbook (see below).
· The Members' Handbook, issued in January, includes S.S.A. competition rules, lists of instructors and the Association's Guide to Turnout for qualifying Equitation Classes, Grade Test and Instructor examination syllabi.
